We had our Annual First Lieutenant Mark Dooley 5K Race of Honor on Sunday, March 29, 2015. This is our 10th year and we are proud to support this race in honor of Lt. Dooley. Your presence made it even more memorable.

First Lieutenant Mark H. Dooley, was a native of Wallkill. He was assigned to the Army National Guard's 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), 42nd Infantry Division, Jericho, Vermont. He was also a member of the Wilmington's police department for three months before his unit and was called to active duty in Iraq.

First Lieutenant Mark H. Dooley was not only an "amazing and gifted officer" who felt a duty to serve his country, he was an adored son and inspiring older brother. His encouraging quoted words "Remember, time is a gift." will be forever valued.
